Student Government's Purpose

• Provide information and suggestions on policy issues to the campus administration.
• Provide feedback to the student body.
• Provide a sounding board for student opinions and suggestions regarding all campus programs.
• Encourage citizenship training by exposure to election procedures and the use of formal rules of order.
• Develop leadership skills through holding office, solving problems, and making decisions for the good of the student body.
